DDA & Businesses

The Canton Downtown Development Authority is a board of 11 citizens and business owners. Along with the Township Supervisor, they promote economic development and support businesses and growth within the DDA boundary. All businesses with a brick and mortar within the DDA boundary shown at the map below, qualifies for the Ford Road District resources. If you’re unsure, please contact the DDA to confirm.

Supported by the manager, the DDA helps with everything from holiday lighting, landscaping and wayfinding that beautifies the Ford Road District to directly helping new businesses or developments locate to the district.
